Last modified: 2009-04-29 18:35:08 EDT
Description of problem:
The current version of xorg does not support xrandr 1.2
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
xrandr version 1.2 makes it possible to use beautiful and essential video features such as changing the display resolutions, outputs and other video parameters on the fly. In todays modern electronic world xrandr 1.1 is simply old fashioned and difficult to use.
Please upgrade xorg to the version that supports xrandr 1.2
It is not difficult, you can start from fc7 packages.
It is not christmas but I file this anyway...
We don't plan to do this in the near future.
