XFCE does not use "Antialias"
Last modified: 2009-04-18 01:38:32 EDT
XFCE does not use "Antialias". No more information...
I assume you mean Anti aliased fonts?
Go to preferences->Appearance->Fonts and enable the checkbox there?
I'm not understanding your bug, so please expand on what is happening and what you expect to happen and how they are different.
Yes. If I set up it manual it works. But it does not work by default. All other DEs use it. And XFCE in F10 also use it.
ok. I have set it to be on by default now.
I have requested that the new package be added to f11 for release.
Would you like me to keep this open until it's tagged in or released as an update?
Or can we close it now?
You can get the build direct from the build system if you want to test it out:
I have tested the latest xfce4-settings-4.6.0-5 on new user, but your config does not work. I added new configuration line for HintStyle to xsettings.xml:
<property name="HintStyle" type="string" value="hintfull"/>
and Antialias began to work. Please add it too.
Can you test out the build at:
Sorry about that. I thought it would default to the right thing there. ;(
Thanks! It works fine now!
Excellent. It's tagged in for f11 now and should show up in rawhide tomorrow.
Thanks for the report and all the testing!
