Description of problem:
There is no way to explicitly disconnect from a wireless network (short of disabling wireless altogether). I'd like to be able to do that (and, thinking about it, for wired connections as well) via nm-applet

Thanks for your enhancement request. This feature is now available in the rawhide version 0.7.996-2.git20090921.fc12 of NetworkManager.
