Description Josef Bacik 2009-05-02 09:56:17 EDT
Description of problem:
I just installed F11-Preview and I'm not getting any sound out of my card. I tried using alsamixer, but it also has just one volume control that doesn't do anything. Here is my info

http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=37defe35e98ed0120d79a6534c4928a5242dbe90

What needs to be tweaked so I can get the volume control thing to screw with the right thing on my card so I can actually get sound?

Please use "alsamixer -c0" and play around with your controls. Also, please read this email and provide the information requested therein:

hrm nm, for some reason the video libs were installed but not the audio libs, so i got video and no audio and assumed audio was screwed up. Its working fine. CLOSED->PEBCAK
