Natural way how to work on bugs in Red Hat bugzilla (especially with regards to RHEL bugs) should be that developer makes a commit to CVS and then switches bug to MODIFIED state. However, it doesn't seem to be possible to do anything else with the bug than to CLOSE it once it has been ASSIGNED.
While I appreciate the bug reports, Matej, I think it would be best if you worked directly with upstream on your Mylyn requests. Thanks.
