Description of problem: I use a Blackberry supported by the Red Hat Blackberry program. When I respond to a mail and a person is using the Evolution threading feature, this mail will break the thread. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Easily reproducible by sending a reply to a thread via a BB. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reply to a threaded mail on Blackberry 2. Read the thread on Evolution 3. Actual results: New thread Expected results: Part of existing thread Additional info: Daniel Riek is the person who is actually observing this problem. He asked me to submit.
Can you post a sample reply message that was composed on the Blackberry? Evolution does threading based on "References" and "In-Reply-To" message headers, so I want to see if the Blackberry is generating either of them.
Reporter, could you please reply to the previous question? Thank you.
Created attachment 413684 [details] returned email Yes, this is very clearly problem on Blackberry's side. Instead of using standard In-Reply-To header it tries to follow Microsoft Exchange even in parts where Microsoft admits to have a bug (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908027/en-us?fr=1).
