Description of problem:
Trying to mount devfs gives the following message :
mount: fs type devfs not supported by kernel

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. mount -t devfs devfs /dev
2.
3.
	

Actual Results:  mount: fs type devfs not supported by kernel

Expected Results:  running with devfs enabled

Additional info:

Standard RH7.1 upgraded to latest kernel. Packages installed :
kernel-2.4.3-12
devfsd-2.4.3-12

devfs has WAY too many security holes, which are known for at least 2 years now
but the author refuses to fix them, we cannot possibly enable it and have to
consider that code as terminally broken and unsupported
