Description Peter Robinson 2009-06-17 09:53:40 UTC
Using rhythmbox's upbp media renderer support, rygel as a mediaserver and gupnp-av-cp (from gupnp-tools) there are a number of small issues with display of tracks playing etc.

with 0.12.1 the track status (playing, progress bar, etc) use to update on gupnp-av-cp. With 0.12.2 that no longer works. Also the track progress in rhythmbox doesn't work, its just greyed out but that is the same in both 0.12.1 and 0.12.2

It also appears the icon in the notification area disappears to (this is with normal use not with upnp).

Actually that seems to be due to the move to the plugin.

This sort of bugs should really be filed upstream.

The notification icon is a plugin now, and can be enabled/disabled in the Plugins dialogue.

Will file it upstream. Seems there's more issues with the upnp so will document it some more and file new bug upstream.
