Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 508102
Troubleshooting spins forever if you give wrong password
Last modified: 2009-07-22 18:06:48 EDT
Description of problem:
If you select Troubleshooting and give the wrong password, it spins forever instead of (after a time) presenting you with an error or re-displaying the password entry. If you cancel, it takes you to the "Enable Debugging" screen with no warning that the password was wrong.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
system-config-printer-1.1.8-1.fc11 (from updates-testing)
Haven't tried it with 1.1.7 (fc11 release version)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a printer, go to Properties
2. Select Help/Troubleshooting
3. Enter the wrong password
Fixed in 1.1.8-3.fc11:
