Description Matan Ziv-Av 2009-07-05 09:10:57 UTC
Description of problem:

The culmus (Hebrew) fonts are available in Postscript version on Fedora 11, but the TeX configuration for them is missing, so Hebrew documents cannot be processed.

The line

Map culmus.map

should be added to the file texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg. Otherwise the file culmus.map which is part of the tex-fonts-hebrew-0.1-11.fc11.noarch package is ignored.

Comment 1 Dan Kenigsberg 2009-07-05 18:31:53 UTC
I don't think this is a problem - the main issue is that texlive don't include Culmus fonts. After installing tex-fonts-hebrew, the %post script adds this line to updmap.cfg (at least on my machine).

If this is broken on your system, please reopen this bug with more details.
