Having this version of WZ in the Fedora repos would be greatly appreciated. The 2.2 release brings major stability improvements and a bunch of new features, cutscene playback being the most notable among them. There have also been various balance fixes and usability improvements since 2.1 (for example, VTOL rearming pads can now be built in strips without spaces in between them). Building from source can be fun, but I think most of us Warzone players would be grateful for a package. =)
