Created attachment 359682 [details] Debian patch for update disable Hello. My name is Adrian Perez, I'm the current maintainer of azureus in Debian. Well, I had similar issues in debian/ubuntu, so you may take a look at this patch, it's simple but works, and it's reviewed by upstream devs. It disables updates such as Core, Core Patcher, and SWT. Hope it's useful to you.
azureus-4.0.0.4-6.fc11 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 11. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/azureus-4.0.0.4-6.fc11
First of all, apologies for the delay, vacation came in-between... I've revived Anthony Green's patches from F-10 that for some reason had been dropped in for F-11. I can't say I've studied them in detail, they considerably more extensive then the one suggested by Adrian but I've given them a rudimentary try and it seems to work. Please try azureus-4.0.0.4-6 (should be available in updates-testing) and let me know how it fares.
