Simple: running Epiphany in current Rawhide, clicking on Tools and then Adblock Editor causes Epiphany to crash immediately. 100% reproducible. Console messages are a long string of: (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_append: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_append: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_append: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed (epiphany:30996): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed
Assigning to mclasen. Makes no sense to assign to gecko-bugs-nobody as Epiphany no longer uses Gecko.
BTW, Matthias, shouldn't whole component be switched over to you (or whoever else than gecko folks)?
Most decidedly not me.
Epiphany is effectively an orphan, as it's own by gecko-maint: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packages/name/epiphany which obviously makes no sense any more. I will bring this up on -devel-list. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
It is not crashing here
Ah, no. It is crashing. I just didn't understand how to
