Description of problem:
Icon shows volume muted after installation. After setting volume control using the icon, upon next reboot icon shows volume muted again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:
First time setting volume after installation of rawhide.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install rawhide from boot.iso dated 8/15/2009.
2. Reboot to desktop.
3. Adjust volume using icon.
4. Reboot.
  
Actual results:
Volume control muted.

Expected results:
Volume control stays where set before reboot.

Do you still see this ? 
There have been fixes to mute (general volume) handling in gnome-media since this bug was filed.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

I just installed Fedora 12 using netinst.iso and the volume control is working fine. Thanks.
