We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance.
Throwing the bug wine folks for further analysis. I don't think this could work at all. If you have any reason to believe that this should work, please, provide the information in comment 4 and reassign back. Thank you.
Please provide the wine version you are using and all installed wine packages.

The corruption is independant of kernel mode setting, and I have since the inital report updated to the following related version, note that currently I am unable to run kernel mode setting due to bug 525904 tho this bug occurs with or without kernel mode setting. mesa-libGLU-devel-7.6-0.13.fc12.i686 mesa-dri-drivers-7.6-0.13.fc12.i686 mesa-libGL-devel-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 mesa-libGL-devel-7.6-0.13.fc12.i686 mesa-libGL-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 mesa-dri-drivers-experimental-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 kernel-firmware-2.6.31.1-48.fc12.noarch kernel-2.6.31.1-48.fc12.x86_64 xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.13.0-0.5.20090929git7968e1fb8.fc12.x86_64 mesa-dri-drivers-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 mesa-libGLU-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 kernel-2.6.31-40.fc12.x86_64 kernel-headers-2.6.31.1-48.fc12.x86_64 mesa-libGLU-devel-7.6-0.13.fc12.x86_64 mesa-libGL-7.6-0.13.fc12.i686 mesa-libGLU-7.6-0.13.fc12.i686 kernel-2.6.31-33.fc12.x86_64
