Description of problem:
install f12-beta-x86_86-DVD.iso using lvm partitioning on preexisting lvm. Reboot after install. Then Exception occurred before firstboot. 
Note: unable to save traceback bug in this case. The button doesn't work.

Exception occurred.

no Exception occurred.

Oh sorry, I re-verified this bug. During installation, I used Chinese(simplified) during installation process and then selected defaults for others, then this issue was reproduced. so selecting 'Chinese(simplified)' is the reason to make the problem occurred.

The issue here is that the simplified Chinese time zone translations don't use the normal slash (Unicode SOLIDUS U+002F), but DIVISION SLASH (U+2215). I've added code to s-c-date which normalizes all slash look-alikes I could find to the normal one to make this more robust.
