Description of problem: During installation, if Anaconda generates an unhandled exception, you are asked to save the exception and file a bug report, within a graphical window. If you choose to Save it, you are asked for a destination. With "local storage" selected, all you can do is click on "File system" underneath. But when you do that, things get confusing with "root" and "Desktop" appearing _above_ "File System", then a horizontal line, then "Other....", and then a blank row (and clicking on that brings it back to saying just "File System" again). Clicking on "root" or "Desktop" also has odd effects, e.g. clicking on "Desktop" makes the box mostly empty except for containing a single "root" item. Clearly the item selection is not working properly. Expected Results: As this is happening during installation, the "root" or "Desktop" options don't seem appropriate in any case, so while they also appear in an odd position, they should probably not be listed at all. The only option which makes sense is "Other", and I suggest that rather than asking, it goes straight to the file selector box which you get by clicking "Other". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora Core 12 Beta (anaconda 12.37)
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
The save-to-local behavior is now under the control of the report module, so I'm going to reassign for them to take a look and device what's best to do.
Because of the change to using 'report' for saves, the problem described above is no longer relevant. It is still possible that there are new problems, but those should be addressed in new bz.
