Description of problem: Even if I choose Japanese from the language group, the default keyboard layout is U.S. English. which has ever been Japanese. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda-12.38-1.fc12 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.select Japanese from the language list 2.see the default keyboard layout 3. Actual results: U.S. English Expected results: Japanese Additional info:
What does /etc/sysconfig/keyboard say after installation is complete?
without correcting the keyboard layout? or with correcting the keyboard layout to Japanese?
Without doing any editing at all - as soon as anaconda shows you the congrats screen, press ctrl-alt-f2 and see what /mnt/sysimage/etc/sysconfig/keyboard says. That'll tell us if it's anaconda screwing up or something later on.
