Description of problem: Exaile audioscrobbler plugin is not submitting tracks from an inserted CD to audioscrobbler Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): exaile.0.3.0.1-1.fc11.x86_64 (Fedora 11) How reproducible: Extremely Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert audio CD and start exaile 2. Play any track of CD 3. Wait Actual results: Exaile does not submit track info to Audioscrobbler. Expected results: Track should be immediately submitted to Audioscrobbler. Additional info: Audoscrobbler is submitting tracks in the local collection without problem. Just for information and as a summary: This just seems to occur with CDs by "Various Artists". CDDB and other sources return inconsistent data sets for such CDs, so scrobbling those informations to AudioScrobbler-Services might cause problems, e.g. last.fm ignores the scrobbled information because it was "invalid". I'm having an eye on this issue on the upstream bugtracker. Last information there is from 2010-01-24. The importance of this issue was set from "Low" to "Wishlist" by upstream. I guess it may takes a bit time until this is fixed or rather implemented. Matthew, since you also subscribed to the issue upstream, let me know if you hear something new before me. :)

Changing the Fedora version to 12 since the issue still remains open on upstream site.
Noticed that upstream have now placed a milestone of version 3.3 on the implementation of this feature. This may be a little way off, given that version 3.2 is only just about to be released.

Fedora 12 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2010-12-02. Fedora 12 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
