Description of problem: Please add Maven depmap fragments to the spec file as specified here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Java#maven This makes it possible for other packages that use Maven to build against the jakarta-commons-logging library. The appropriate calls to %add_to_maven_depmap are probably: %add_to_maven_depmap commons-logging commons-logging %{version} JPP commons-logging %add_to_maven_depmap commons-logging commons-logging-api %{version} JPP commons-logging-api Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): jakarta-commons-logging-1.0.4-9.8.fc12.x86_64
I'd like to add the necessary Maven metadata myself, using provenpackager access. If you don't want me to do this, please let me know before Saturday 5 December.
apache-commons-logging replaces jakarta-commons-logging in rawhide, and it now has the depmaps: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/rpminfo?rpmID=2015440
