Description Petr Tuma 2009-12-13 08:19:54 UTC
Description of problem:

When creating notes assigned to a cell (menu Insert -> Note), the notes are not saved within the ODS file (and therefore disappear on document close).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

openoffice.org-calc-core-3.1.1-19.14.fc12.x86_64
openoffice.org-calc-3.1.1-19.14.fc12.x86_64
openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.14.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new spreadsheet.
2. Insert a note into a cell (menu Insert -> Note, fill note text into yellow box).
3. Save, close and reopen the document.

Actual results:

The note is gone.

Expected results:

The note should be in the spreadsheet as inserted.

Additional info:

The note is apparently not saved in the file (unzipping and looking for the note text fails to find it). The various note display options in the Tools -> Options menu are not to blame.

Hi,

I just faced this issue and I'm using the latest packages on Fedora 12 (openoffice.org-calc-3.1.1-19.14.fc12.i686).

Why hasn't package 3.1.1-19.15.fc12 been pushed forward for F12?

Thanks,
Jorge

please check latest updated package for F12 from updates-testing
(yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing openoffice*)
