Description of problem:

The valgrind session log file contains this when trying to run a valgrind session from gdm:

valgrind: m_debuginfo/readelf.c:1918 (vgModuleLocal_read_elf_debug_info): Assertion 'di->bss_size == shdr->sh_size' failed.
