Description Pavel Lisý 2009-12-18 11:19:43 UTC
Description of problem:
If there is this dependency gdal compile in librx.so (regexp library)
Mapserver which is compiled using this gdal crashes with SIGABORT (conflict in regexp implementation).

There is workaround in current (EPEL5) mapserver.spec which has to be added for this reason.
from mapserver.spec:
-------
# fix gdal lookup
%{__sed} -i.libs -e 's|`\$GDAL_CONFIG --dep-libs`||' configure
-------

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:
I am using gdal for building several other versions of mapserver packages
If you remove this BuildRequires mapserver can be built from mainstream sources directly (without workaround in .spec file)
