Hi, thanks for the bug report. This is already fixed in the git repository, but currently there *hopefully was* an issue with the new notifications. On a new day, you'll get a notification every minute. This should be fixed now and I'll test this this weekend. As soon as I can be sure, that this issue is fixed, there will be new gbirthday release. Till then, you can test the currently β if you want and let me know.
