I'm going to check if this bug duplicates following one:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=568177#c2

Please, try to get NetworkManager-pptp from testing repository. It should fix your issue.

Nothing changed - still NM can't establish a connection. I must manually run PPPoE by /sbin/ifup ppp0 (but he still forgot to start connection automatically and for all users, so i must run him manually under root... even if i set to start automatically and for all users...)

Could you provide me some logs from /var/log/messages. I'd like to know version of your NM* packages.

I'm currently investigating if rebuilding rp-pppoe fixes the issue. I will be able to provide you a link to scratch build.

Strange - two days ago i update my system (ppp package too) and now NM work fine.

Comment 5 Jiri Skala 2010-03-01 12:39:43 UTC
I suppose there were necessary to update NM and NM-pptp (if used). The right packages was available via --enamberepo=update-testing. One of these things or both affected you attempt to update.

If I understood correctly this works fine and I can close the bug, isn't it?

Comment 6 Krystian 2010-03-01 12:46:20 UTC
Yes :-) I use ppp-2.4.5-2.fc12.x86_64 and everything is fine. Bug may be closed :-)

Comment 7 Jiri Skala 2010-03-01 13:20:30 UTC
fixed putting rebuilt NetworkManager and NetworkMAnager-pptp into stable repository
