F13 gedit gedit /var/log/messages &

Description of problem:
When opening /var/log/messages as normal user from terminal
gedit /var/log/messages &
then where the name off the file was in F12 ( and previus ) there is (null).
Where  (null) is now was the file name /var/log/messages.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gedit-2.29.7-1.fc13.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. gedit /var/log/messages &

Actual results:
Gedit opens and where file name was now there is (null)

Expected results:
To see full file name 

Additional info:
I copy the file name to use as root to open file.

F12 -gedit /var/log/messages

From F12 when $ gedit /var/log/messages &
Full file name is there ready to be copyed

I fixed this a while ago.
