Description of problem: I miss xmppprio which is in upstream since 2009-02-14 (2.6.0 was 2009-08-30). Current Fedora 2.4.0 is from 2008-08-03. We have 2010 nowadays. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): purple-plugin_pack-pidgin-2.4.0-4.fc12.x86_64 (OK, I run F-12 now but it is neither in F-13/ nor in devel/) Steps to Reproduce: Unable to set XMPP accounts priority. Additional info: Version 2.6.0: 08/30/09 * Added XMPP Priority plugin. This allows users to configure the priority attribute for XMPP statuses on a per-account basis.
Scratch build of 2.6.3 is on https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2250933
In addition the xmppprio plugin is not turned on by default even in the latest tarball from upstream. It needs a "touch ./xmppprio/.build" before ./configure to enable. Even after enabling that though, I couldn't get other people to see a different xmpp priority for my pidgin instance, although I could be doing something wrong...
FYI: got the xmppprio plugin to work, but had to toggle my status to something different to get the priorities to take affect.

Any news on this update? I would be glad to handle this package if the current maintainer is too busy.
