If there is a default user with a password requirement, then that password should be made known to a especially a new user. Not doing so is shooting your own foot. I do not know if the GNOME version fails in the same way. Another consideration is that your site file size for the KDE version is 686MB but the download size, as reported in Firefox 3.5.6 is 681MB. Some discrepancy.
