You can choose in printconf-gui to install the HP Business Inkjet 2200
printer using the chp2200 driver. Unfortunately, gs does not seem to be
compiled with support for the chp2200 driver. No print jobs are send to the
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create new print queue
2.choose the HP Business Inkjet 2200 printer
3.try to print
Actual Results: nothing (that's the problem) ;-(

I'm having the same problem while using HP Business Inkjet 2200 printer. Now, where can I go to find the answer??

I found an easy solution to the problem: ghostscript comes compiled with the
DJ9xxVIP device. This one generates the right output format for the HP Business
inkjet! So all you have to do is to select the DJ9xxVIP device and everything is

Fortunately the hpinkjet project (http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net) includes now
a driver for the HP2200. Since the RedHat ghostscript RPM includes the DJ9xxVIP
driver, you can enable printing to the HP2200 without recompiling gs. Just
install hpijs (from the previous website) and select the DJ9xxVIP device.
