Description Qixiang Wan 2010-04-16 02:38:27 EDT
Description of problem:
sub-command 'debug' in guestfish always requires 2 parameters, but some commands don't need 2 parameters indeed, such as help, segv, fds and env.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libguestfs-1.0.85-1.fc12.3.x86_64
guestfish-1.0.85-1.fc12.3.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
><fs> debug help
debug should have 2 parameter(s)
type 'help debug' for help on debug
><fs> debug help blabla
Commands supported: help env fds ls ll segv sh

Comment 1 Richard W.M. Jones 2010-04-17 06:07:11 EDT
Debug is an internal-only "backdoor" into the appliance,
and so it's not designed for general use. Also, we can
change the API of debug whenever we want.

So therefore, I don't think this is a bug. The sort of
expert users who use debug will check the source code for
debug and understand how to use the parameters.
