Description of problem: The laptop doesn't power down. All services are shut down correcly, then the console window shows message "Power down", but the power still on and the screen stays frozen. I have to shutdown by pressing a few seconds my power button Stand by and hibernate don't work either Those functions were working well under MS Windows XP Family Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.6.32.11-99.fc12.i686.PAE How reproducible: 100% reproducible (problem shows every time I shut down my computer) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose menu System>Shutdown 2. Wait a few moments. 3. Actual results: The console shows each service shutting down, then message "Power down" is displayed, but the laptop stays on showing the screen. It hangs. After a moment, the Fan starts and stays on as well. Expected results: The system should power down the laptop, the screen should shut down as well Additional info:
