Description of problem: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=244866 Openbox by default is not configured to support PulseAudio out of the box in Fedora and requires tweaking configuration files to get things to work. It would be much better if openbox detected PulseAudio runtime and auto started the requisite support by running start-pulseaudio-x11 when logging in or split up the functionality into a separate sub-package like openbox-pulseaudio if runtime detection is not feasible
It should be started automatically by /usr/share/openbox/xdg-autostart. This could be a missing dependency on pyxdg. Can you confirm installing the pyxdg package fixes the problem?
