This mean that I can use mkfs.btrfs utility from the command line of the booted dvd.
Not that package is available between packages that will be installed from installation dvd.

Btrfs is only going to be available for x86_64, this is not a bug.
You cannot install onto btrfs with any flavors of RHEL, the option is disabled in anaconda.
Ok looks like I need to add ExclusiveArch to btrfs-progs to make it only build on x86_64. As soon as I get confirmation on that I will use this bz for that.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field
accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team.
BTRFS is going to be Tech Preview only for x86_64, you will not be able to use it on any other architecture.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 is now available and should resolve
the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed
with a resolution of CURRENTRELEASE. You may reopen this bug report if the
solution does not work for you.
