Description of problem:
While booting with plymouth (rhgb), if one hits ESC or DEL for example, to view the background processes, then hits ESC or DEL again to bring back the graphical interface, the a static frame from the round circular animated image sticks in the top left-hand corner.

1.boot with rhgb
2.hit esc (view bg processes)
3.hit esc again (view visualizations again)

no fragment would remain
