Description Doncho Gunchev 2010-06-10 20:21:41 UTC

SELinux is preventing /bin/bash "setrlimit" access .

Detailed Description:

SELinux denied access requested by mysqld_safe. It is not expected that this
access is required by mysqld_safe and this access may signal an intrusion
attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the
application is causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug

Comment 1 Miroslav Grepl 2010-06-11 06:02:15 UTC
Did you add something in '/etc/my.cnf' file?

Comment 2 Doncho Gunchev 2010-06-21 11:01:10 UTC
Most likely:

nice = 2

Comment 3 Daniel Walsh 2010-06-21 13:21:47 UTC
I think we should add it.

Comment 4 Miroslav Grepl 2010-06-21 13:34:33 UTC
Yes. Fixed in selinux-policy-3.7.19-31.fc13.
