Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 603976
[abrt] crash in epiphany-2.28.2-1.fc12: raise: Process /usr/bin/epiphany was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT)
Last modified: 2010-08-09 10:59:26 EDT
abrt 1.0.9 detected a crash.
Attached file: backtrace
reason: Process /usr/bin/epiphany was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT)
release: Fedora release 12 (Constantine)
Crashes whether I had Java enabled or not. There was a message about IcedTea starting even when I had Java disabled.
My original purpose was to test a Java applet in Epiphany.
I would be happy to provide additional information.
How to reproduce
1. Start epiphany
2. Visit www.java.com which redirects to www.java.com/en/

Disable extensions, plugins and non-default themes. Clear cookies and cache. Exit the browser completely. Then restart the browser and attempt to replicate the crash.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash, because there are no debugging symbols loaded (probably abrt failed to load them).
Unfortunately, we cannot use this backtrace.
Closing as INSUFFICIENT_DATA.
