Description Bernd Schubert 2010-06-24 13:06:36 UTC
Description of problem:

Q-Logic recently released a new driver (8.03.01.06.05.06) that fixes a queing bug. For example with our DDN storage it would happen that driver complains with "queue full" or "task full" (I'm not sure about the exact error messages). The only known workaround it to limit queue_depth to 1.

As I'm in the lustre team, I don't know too much about the bug myself, except that it makes some additional work for me to patch the kernel with the newer driver. So I would like if you already working on patch for RHEL5.6.

Thanks,
Bernd

Current RHEL5 is on 8.03.07.x.x.x so should be fixed.
