Description Jaroslav Kortus 2010-06-30 15:17:17 UTC
Description of problem:
when mixed cluster is set up and upgrading="yes" in cman set, the rgmanager still does not sync across the cluster properly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rgmanager-3.0.12-1.el6.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install 3 node cluster
2. upgrade 1 node to rhel6
3. join cluster and start rgmanager

Actual results:
rhel6 does not see any rgmanager status (check with clustat), while the rest (rhel5.5 nodes) do see it as started. This makes service migration to rhel6 impossible

Expected results:
rgmanager starts and nodes are in sync (clustat -x is identical wrt rgmanager status and services).

Comment 3 Lon Hohberger 2010-06-30 15:50:12 UTC
This change will render rgmanager incompatible with existing STABLE3 installations; it will not be possible to mix STABLE3 and RHEL6 branches.

For this reason, it is not recommended this patch be added to STABLE3.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 is now available and should resolve
the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed
with a resolution of CURRENTRELEASE. You may reopen this bug report if the
