Description of problem:
After upgrade from kernel 2.4.9-21 to 2.4.9-31 ipchains report errors. For 
example: ipchains -L reports the message: ipchains: Incompatible with this 
kernel.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.4.9-31


How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter: ipchains -L
2.
3.
	

Actual Results:  Message: ipchains: Incompatible with this kernel

do you have the ipchains module loaded ?
lsmod will tell you
