Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 611273
Missing icon of kaffeine
Last modified: 2010-08-30 14:27:44 EDT
Description of problem:
After installing icon is not present in menue. Icon is missing in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
yum install kaffeine -y
Steps to Reproduce:
The kaffeine icons are part of the oxygen-icon-theme and they live not under hicolor but oxygen.
I will add a Requires oxygen-icon-theme to the spec.
Meanwhile run: yum install oxygen-icon-theme
Probably better to add
though that won't solve the problem of kaffeine's .desktop Icon not appearing for folks not using kde and who's icon theme != oxygen
I suppose we could place a copy of oxygen-icon-theme's
into hicolor to address that (or use some other generic icon).
Re-open it until we find a better solution.
I built kaffeine-1.0-5 in rawhide. Please test and report back if it's now fixed.
The problem could be solved with
ln -f -s /usr/share/icons/oxygen/48x48/apps/kaffeine.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 14 development cycle.
Changing version to '14'.
