Description bugzilla 2010-07-07 07:31:10 UTC
Description of problem:

When I invoke yum update (as root) I receive a dependency resolution error. I checked other reported bugs and I see where similar bugs have been logged about this library but their resolution statuses seem to suggest that this problem has been resolved. If true, I would not expect to have the problem that I have encountered. This is being reported about the 64 bit version of the OS but I also run the 32 bit version and I get the same error.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

 Fedora Core 12

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

This is a very old package. Try the latest package from Fedora 12:
