gimp-1.2.3-2 has a packaging error in that it doesn't include its manpages due to the recent addition of "versioning". To fix, change its specfile %file entries from: %{_mandir}/man1/gimp.1* %{_mandir}/man5/gimprc.5* etc... to: %{_mandir}/man1/gimp* %{_mandir}/man5/gimprc*
