From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0) Description of problem: Probe All LUNs by default is disabled in the kernel. Since this is an enterprise level distribution, it would make sense if probe all LUNs was enabled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Standard installation of Pensacola has Probe All LUNs disabled by default. 2.Requires kernel configuration and compilation in order to enable it. Expected Results: Since this is an enterprise level distribution, it would make sense if Probe All LUNs was enabled. This would be beneficial for customers using Linux boxes attached to a storage box via fibre channel. Enabling Probe All LUNs would faciliate booting from a fibre channel fabric and would allow for a greater range of devices to be seen. Additional info:
This has been explained over and over and over again to EMC. No. We can add ID's of devices that need multilun. We asked for such id's. All the id's that are sent to use were added. There is a runtime option to enable it. What more do you need ?
