Description of problem:
I wish to have a password request before the start of gnome-disk-utility, similiar to fedora-gparted.desktop.

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Palimpsest from Menu/System
2.
3.
  
Actual results:
Palimpsest starts with a message box that no devices can be mounted or unmounted.

Expected results:
Window appears and asks for root password.

There is absolutely no need for this - the user already gets authenticated as needed. This is much better than what you ask for and also the direction the OS has been moving in for the past couple of years. It's actually on purpose that we avoid asking for administrator passwords like this.

Btw, next time you ask for a feature in bugzilla you better provide a rationale for the change you want - it is considered bad form to not do that. Thanks.
