Screenshot of font errors and artifacts

Description of problem:

On Fedora 13, when I use clusterssh, I get odd looking characters when I type. Every character seems to have a pipe after it. Hitting CTRL-L seems to clear it up, but it is definitely an annoyance. Also, when the windows get tiled/resized, they leave artifacts on the screen. This is while running with compiz turned on.

When I turn compiz off, everything appears fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

clusterssh-3.26-2.fc12.noarch
Fedora 13 with all applicable updates as of 2010-07-21
compiz-0.8.6-1.fc13.x86_64
kmod-nvidia-2.6.33.6-147.fc13.x86_64-195.36.31-1.fc13.1.x86_64

How reproducible:

Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Fedora 13 with latest updates
2. Turn Desktop Effects on (compiz)
3. Run clusterssh with multiple hosts

Actual results:

Odd font glitches. Window artifacts left over from re-size

Expected results:

No font glitches, or artifacts. This seemed to work fine under Fedora 11 with NVidia drivers.

Additional info:

I'm not positive this is a clusterssh, compiz, nvidia or xterm bug. But figured I would place it here in the hopes that it will be assigned to the correct place.

See attached screenshot.

Thanks,
ep

Confirmed, I can reproduce this error with this packages:

compiz-0.8.6-1.fc13.x86_64
clusterssh-3.26-2.fc12.noarch
xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.11.0-5.fc13.x86_64
xterm-261-2.fc13.x86_64

But this error is from compiz or from xterm, you can verify this running only "xterm" from your console, for example.

Ok, I'm going to close this bug and re-submit under compiz.

Thanks,
ep
