doesn't happen with debian's current screen-3.9.11 either. So it seems to be a Red Hat specific problem.
Yes,... Florian rebuilt screen over the top of the working screen <expletives deleted> I'll be tackling this issue shortly but in the meantime I'll be reverting the package to 3.9.10-1 consider 3.9.11 a dead duck for the moment Phil =--=
This works for me with 3.9.10-1, which should be in current rawhide. Please re-open if it persists with that version.
It's back in screen-3.9.11-2 AFAICT! :-(
