Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load an image in GIMP
2. Try to print it 
3. Try to select EPSON STYLUS PHOTO 1290 as printer
	

Additional info:

gimp-print is already used by cups in skipjack. Using gimp-print adds full
support for several new printers. This bug makes it much more difficult to get
top quality output from these printers from gimp.

gimp-print support is included for LPRng-based printing as well.
