Description Michael Wiktowy 2010-08-28 05:27:12 UTC
abrt version: 1.1.13
architecture: x86_64
Attached file: backtrace
cmdline: scribus '/home/mwiktowy/Documents/Wedding/Wedding Menu.sla'
component: scribus
crash_function: ScribusMainWindow::emergencySave
executable: /usr/bin/scribus
kernel: 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64
package: scribus-1.3.8-1.fc13
rating: 4
reason: Process /usr/bin/scribus was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard)
time: 1282970919
uid: 500

How to reproduce
-----
1. Just using Scribus as normal
2. The only think I can think of as unusual is I used an existing file as a starting point,
saved it under a different name and changed the paper size on all pages.

This appears to happen consistently when selecting a text box and selecting spell check from the Item menu.

thanks for this info, I can reproduce the crash on F-13, but not on F-12, so it can depend on distro version and will need more investigation.

Also the backtrace I get is different from the attached one. Could you please create a new report from the crash that happens when reproducing the steps from comment #2? Maybe we have 2 different crashes here.

Sorry for the delay. The new bug report generated via abrt is Bug #636536
