Description of problem: If bottom panel in default gnome-panel arrangement is not set to its default 'expanded' form and the system is restarted, the panel aligns itself just below the top panel in center upon reboot. Its observed if Compiz is 'on' Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.30.0 How reproducible: Always, if Compiz is used for desktop effects. Tested on same machine twice even after fresh installation and turning Compiz 'on' Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enable Compiz 2.Right click bottom panel --> Properties --> Uncheck Expand 3.Restart System Actual results: When restarted, bottom panel shortens as expected but aligns just below top panel in center.
