Description Gene Czarcinski 2002-04-09 16:53:16 UTC
Although the changelog in the spec file for WindowMaker says there are
BuildRequires added, none exist.

The should be BuildRequires for the automake15 and autoconf253 packages.

BTW, did those two package have to be shipped just because of WindowMaker?

Comment 1 Phil Copeland 2002-04-09 19:21:55 UTC
They will be added back in. at the last moment bad things happened in the build
system and I'd to pull the lines out temporarily.

autoconf253/automake15 have to be shipped for other reasons than WindowMaker
(though windowmaker will not cleanly build from pure source if you use the older
versions)

Other applications eg gnome/kde need the updated version of automake whereas
older apps will break on the newer autoconf/make kits. Welcome to my world of
pain.

Note: on the next release, there will be autoconf, autoconf253, automake,
automake15, etc..
This is outside my control

Phil
